Frequently Asked Questions
  1. Will it fit my bike?
A Trigg fits almost any motorcycle on the road (Harley, Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki and other manufacturers too.) Triggs are built using stock motorcycles and pipes. Call us about your Make and Model.
  2. What is included in the $3995 price?
A complete motorcycle to trike conversion kit is included for $3995 (15" wheels and tires, finished metal frame, gel coated fiberglass body ready for finishing, stainless steel fasteners, and all your mounting hardware. You get everything you need to mount your kit for this price.
  3. Are wheels and tires included in the $3995 price?
Yes. Your choice of wheels are included in this price. Please take a look at the accessories page to see what wheels are presently available for your Trigg. Our tires come dynamically balanced and mounted.
  4. How is a Trigg mounted?
A Trigg is mounted utilizing a "belly plate," which is attached to the underside front of the motorcycle frame beneath the motor. It is mounted to the rear of the bike frame using brackets that attach to the motorcycle near the rear axle
  5. Do I have to extend my rear axle or change the rake of my front end?
No, you do not need to do either with a Trigg.
  6. What is your suspension system?
We use a torsion arm styled suspension with 'bump stop' technology. This suspension can either work independently or dependently when coupled with a stabilizer bar. Our 'bump stop' technology consists of urethane bushings at various attachment points, reducing frame vibration and wheel lift.
  7. Can I install a Trigg myself?
Triggs are relatively easy to install. They come preassembled and ready for installation. They require a moderate amount of mechanical ability. The following equipment is needed to install a Trigg: an assortment of wrenches, allen wrenches, blue loctite, a floor or motorcycle lift, and a measuring tape. Other tools may be needed to complete the installation depending on the configuration of your motorcycle. We recommend that you take your Trigg to a motorcycle shop, a motorcycle dealer, or any authorized Trigg dealer to have it installed.
  8. How will my Trigg be delivered?
Your Trigg will be shipped to you or the location of your choice in a single box by one of our shipping partners.
  9. Do you paint the Trigg before it is shipped?
We ship each Trigg to the consumer or dealer with a finished frame and a gel coated fiberglass body that will need to be painted. To ensure the best color match between your new Trigg and your motorcycle, we recommend that you take your Trigg to one of your local paint shops to have it painted to match your bike. If you are willing to work with us, we may be able to have your kit painted before it leaves our facility.
  10. What is the width of a Trigg? There are three important widths you may need for various reasons:
    For our standard frames:
Width from the Outside of the Fenders: The width from the outside of the fenders is 55 inches (Large frame) - 49 (Small frame)
Width from the Inside of the Fenders: The width from the inside of the fenders is 36 inches (Large frame) - 31 inches (Small frame)
